About Lauren
I am currently a student at Emory University majoring in Anthropology and Human Biology. In the past, I have tutored students in all different subject areas including English, Algebra, Geometry, ACT math and science, as well as Physical Science. During the school year, I serve as the treasurer of GlobeMed and the Programming Coordinator of LiNK. I also spend my time working as a clinical research intern for the EmPOWR initiative through the Emory Hospital Department of OB/GYN. And this summer I plan on gaining more clinical experience by working as a medical scribe as I hope to pursue a career in medicine. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, working out, cooking, and checking out the cute cafes in my area!

Teaching is something that I genuinely enjoy, so I would be happy to work with your child. I will be accepting students ranging from elementary school to high school. I believe that my tutor sessions will be most helpful for students who would like to improve in subjects including English, Math, and Science. I will also be offering ACT and SAT prep lessons! I personalize my lessons to meet each student’s needs, as we all have different ways of processing knowledge. To do this, I typically schedule an introductory meeting to get to know each other. We can video conference and meet face-to-face in Superprof's secured online classroom. This will allow you to see first-hand how our tutoring sessions work and how easy and fun online lessons can be. It also allows us to discuss your specific learning needs and goals.
