About Milos

A student of English, as well as a lifelong enthusiast of this language, I can say that mastering its many intricacies has been a most thrilling journey. As a lover of history and philosophy, English has played a crucial role in developing these other passions, so there is no doubt in my mind that learning this language, or any language for that matter, is one of the most worthwhile endeavors a person can undertake. It has also enabled me to work in a professional capacity, first as an interpreter for an ODIHR delegation, then as a substitute teacher in an elementary school. I have also had the pleasure of working with adult individuals in private sessions. As such, I can confidently say I have had experience with people of many different ages and profiles.

About the lesson

These lessons will be all about increasing a student's confidence in their ability and use of the English language, whether that be in conversation, writing, or comprehension. As I believe that the best way for someone to learn a language is through use, the lessons will mainly be conducted in English in order to internalize the language and its many intricacies in the best possible way. We will start the lesson with either checking on our work from the last session or, if this happens to be our first meeting, the student will explain what exactly they aim to achieve from our lessons so that I might be able to properly tailor our work to best serve those aims. We will then proceed to the next part of our lesson, which may contain anything from simple conversation to reading and writing, pronunciation, grammar, or just simple comprehension exercises, the contents again varying on what we aim to achieve. I will gladly teach anyone for any reason, of any age. Having worked with both adults and children, I do not find it difficult to adapt the style and content of my lessons to suit any age or purpose required. As a student and an enthusiast of English, I have been studying this language for over 18 years now, and am highly familiar with its many uses and forms that I have honed for the better part of my life. English is a truly beautiful language, and I will guide any student who chooses to embark upon this journey with the absolute dedication it deserves.
