About Victoria
Hello, I am going to be a student at the University of Jean Jaurès in Toulouse after being an au pair in the United States for 1 year and 9 months where I was able to become bilingual. During this experience, I had the opportunity to teach a little bit of the French language to American children, which makes me very comfortable giving lessons to the youngest. In high school, I also had a tutoring experience to help a student improve his level of English.

I intend my classes mainly at secondary school and high school levels. I can also teach adults up to level B2. So I mostly used to give lessons to children that I often organized by theme (such as nature, tastes, geography etc ...) worked through different skills (knowing how to describe a scene, locate something, to make comparisons etc), while using playful supports which interest the pupil. For more advanced levels, I would proceed in tasks: in several sessions, we will work on different skills which, once assembled, will allow the student to perform the task requested at the start (for example: write a small article, present something orally etc, or a specific task that the student wishes to accomplish). With the student, we can set goals to be achieved according to his/her expectations and I adapt my courses accordingly (for example: with the goal of being able to follow a conversion, to travel, to prepare for a test, to read the language easily etc ...) I will always make sure that we are going in the desired direction and that the student feels comfortable with the learning methods. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions !
