My name is Marion and I am 21 years old. I graduated with a degree in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) English-French-French Sign Language (LSF) route translation-interpretation I have obtained with honors Bien. I am currently studying at the University of Toulouse M1 Jean-Jaurès in Foreign Languages English-French-FLSA. I offer French courses, English and French Sign Language (LSF) for college students in the school as well as for adults who wish to begin or to upgrade. Regarding English. During the first free class, I propose an educational assessment to be able to identify the level of the student. Depending on what he knows and / or its shortcomings, I adapt the content of my courses. The course takes place in two steps: first, we work on a specific notion of grammar, syntax and vocabulary that is applied during exercises performed together. Then we work on an audio, video or written to work listening comprehension. My classes are all Powerpoint is a much more visual and entertaining than just a blank page format. I always try to incorporate in my classes fun elements: links to web pages, work on lyrics, exercises with holes texts, flashcards, learning games to incorporate vocabulary and irregular verbs. I am very careful in speaking with understanding. For this, I rely on different audiovisual media, such as video clips, simple or complex conferences based on the tastes and the student's level. These brackets allow, in parallel, to help the student learn more vocabulary and understand the different accents from around the world. During the first free class, I propose a set of five signs bases and a quick overview of the history of the deaf. I create my own course materials. These are in PowerPoint format. I can, if necessary, make videos that will remain in the educational framework to assist the student in learning the language. These are used to review a concept or provide additional vocabulary to the learner. During the first course of LSF, I talk with the student but at As courses, I will remove the voice to leave the room only when signs I will assume that it has a sufficient level to start to speak. For high school students who pass the LSF option tray, I propose a course to discuss the test and train there so it happens in the best conditions possible. As and progresses, I include sign language videos made by deaf people so that learners get used to the rhythm of speech of the deaf. In addition to this training, I recommend, of course, the meeting of the deaf at parties "coffee-signs" or in associations. This is the universal secret of all language learning: practice! During the school holidays, I can offer refresher courses or intensive courses to help students progress more quickly. I also offer a first free course to my new students so they can find the online course system, become familiar with the interface and so that we can discuss their desires, their difficulties and / or academic status .
