About Alek

With over 8 years of teaching experience and a degree in music, I am dedicated to helping students develop their piano skills in a way that is both fun and challenging. I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s individual needs, whether they are beginners looking to build a strong foundation or more advanced students who want to refine their skills. For beginners, I focus on core concepts such as rhythm, note reading, and hand coordination, while also introducing simple songs that they can play and enjoy. As students progress, I introduce more advanced techniques and pieces, helping them expand their musical knowledge and improve their sight-reading and performance skills. I expose students to a variety of musical styles, including classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary music, ensuring that they develop a broad musical education. I also incorporate ear training into my lessons to help students improve their listening skills and become better musicians. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation and composition, which allows students to express themselves and develop their own unique style. Performance opportunities are built into my lessons, giving students the chance to showcase their skills and gain confidence on stage. My goal is to provide a fun and rewarding learning experience that helps students reach their musical potential.
