About Taylor
I have been teaching for 7+ years and have taught subjects spanning from Middle School Math to Modern European History. I love teaching and want to extend my passion for teaching outside my classroom.
Of all subjects, I am passionate about philosophy and the wonders it can do in our lives. I have a bachelor's and master's in philosophy and am currently finishing a master's in humanities. Moreover, I am lucky to have taught philosophy at the high school level. So far, I have taught Intro to Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Ethics, Existentialism, and Logic.
With me, you will receive a passionate educator with years of experience in the classroom and a track record of success to help you succeed in your education.

I love personalist philosophy, so one thing I try to do is get to know my students as persons. I care deeply about my students and want them to reach their fullest potential—academically, intellectually, and morally.
So, I tend to take a personal approach to my lessons. Getting to know you and then determining the best course of action to get you where you want to be in your educational journey.
I teach primarily by using primary sources and then discussing them with students. Rather than simply telling you the answer, I use the Socratic Method of teaching—more like a discussion—to help you come to the answer yourself. Depending on the subject, I will give occasional lectures to ensure students have all the necessary information to understand the material. However, I do my best to keep these lectures engaging and fun, with plenty of discussion to assure students know the material thoroughly.
I have taught a wide span of ages, from Middle School to Freshmen in College—though I spent most of my teaching career teaching at the High School level. However, I am happy to tutor at any age level!
