About Jad
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the Université Grenoble Alpes, France. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Computer Science and also spent two years studying Biology at university.
I began my academic journey in Biology, drawn by a deep fascination with genomics. A year and a half later, I realized I wanted to dive into Computer Science as well, so I made the switch. However, I had no background in mathematics, and college-level math felt completely out of reach. Also, being diagnosed with ADHD sure didn't help.
Undeterred, I decided to teach myself math from scratch. My routine involved waking up at 5 AM, playing speed chess with colleagues, and diving into 4-hour study sessions, three times a day. It was overwhelming, and many around me suggested I should quit, but that only fueled my determination. Six months later, I was at the top of my class, excelling in subjects like mechanical physics, electromagnetism, algorithms, and algebra.
This challenging journey turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It forced me to develop effective techniques for mastering complex topics quickly. Now, my colleagues often ask me to simplify difficult concepts into stories, as I’ve developed a unique way of making the complex seem simple.
When you view academia as a philosophy, you start to see the bigger picture. Everything is connected, and there’s a rhythm to learning—earth has music for those who listen.

During my years of teaching, I discovered that students often get bored when too much focus is placed on theory. But when it comes to science and logic, everything has a story—and stories are always interesting. We’re often taught subjects without understanding why we need them.
A typical session would start with a quick revision of the prerequisites, followed by an explanation of the main ideas and topics. After that we would connect the dots between previous lessons and the new lessons, followed by practice exercises and labs.
If the student is serious, I will provide them with my personal email, where I can send them personalized practice tests, links to video tutorials, and answer any question they have in a more timely fashion.
I don't just teach the material—it's not in my nature. After a few classes with me, you'll start to grasp the philosophy behind what makes a student excel. You'll learn the best techniques to become the very best version of yourself in academia.
Academia can be challenging, but stick with me, and I'll show you how simple things can actually be.
