Hi, I'm Penny, I'm glad you've stopped by!

I’m a reliable, encouraging and patient tutor helping unsure or low-confidence learners build skills at a steady pace. My lessons are collaborative, warm, supportive, and low-pressure - ideal if you want reassurance and extra encouragement to cheer you on, and if you value human rapport over fast-paced drills and strict targets.

In my free time I love listening to podcasts and videos on personal development and languages. I'm also learning some Swedish, Polish, Welsh and Arabic to keep me entertained and challenged!

Perfect! Penelope is the best! We were having casual, interesting conversations, so I could immerse myself in the process of speaking and feeling the language. At the same time, Penelope was paying attention to everything I said in terms of grammar, sentence structure, and pronunciation. We were not just having conversations - during each lesson, I got feedback about what I do right and what I do wrong. Perfect! My daughter has a hearing impairment and has cochlear implants in both ears. Due to her hearing difficulties, she has always been resistant to online classes. However, after a trial lesson with Penelope, she was greatly inspired by her enthusiasm and patience. She really enjoyed the class and is already looking forward to the next one! Thank you, Penelope!
