About Laura
I have been a teacher for 13 years. I understand how students learn. I am a native English speaker born and raised in Texas in the United States. I also speak andI can sing in Spanish and French! I am a Mom to two amazing boys, Alex and Kaleb and two fur babies, Buddy and Usme. I love to help people and I try to make a positive difference in the lives of other in everything I do! English can be a very difficult language to learn. But with a partnership between myself and my students, as well as patience and compassion, we can work together to help you achieve your goals in learning ESL!

I hope to inspire a love of learning and a passion for English with my fun, engaging lessons! I am flexible and try to adapt my lessons based on the students progress. I have a very good ear for detecting subtle mispronunciation errors. I am kind, caring, compassionate and very patient with my students! Every student learns at their own pace and begins at a unique starting point. No two students will have exactly the same learning experience.
