About Avery
I was an honour students in high school and was even awarded several top marks for University-levelled courses in English and the Humanities.
As a future high school teacher, learning is my passion and I’m always keen to share this among my students. I’m not just here for them, but for myself too! Teaching experience is a must for my future career :)
How do I teach? I personalize lessons based on the student's current academic needs. A student has trouble with essay writing? I write that down in their file and we work from there until they show improvement. I try to keep things interesting with games and fun handouts. Looking forward to helping you/your child succeed.

Details
First lesson is always free! This is an introductory lesson where I get to know the student and assess their strengths/areas of improvement + learn a little about them. All lessons afterwards are $15/hr (minimum wage).
