About Ben
I am a Naturalist by trade, meaning I help people connect with natural, historical, and cultural resources. I have a B.S. in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Peace Building & Social Justice from the University of Mount Union where I tutored and worked in the Office for Academic Success. Since graduating, I have worked with a local park district and the National Park Service.

The best teachers will cater their lessons to each student and age group individually. For younger students, I will focus more on creating logical connections with the material while maintaining a fun, engaging environment with positive reinforcement. For older students, I will focus more on the information and dive deeply into the intricacies of topics to help nurture their curiosity for the natural world.
All in all, I am open to feedback from my students and am committed to creating a relationship with those I tutor so that I may better serve them.

Details
For high school students, dependent college students, and adults, I will charge $15/hr.
For self-supporting college students, I will charge $10/hr.
For students younger than 8th grade, I will charge $12/hr.
I am also willing to consider student/family financial situations with pricing! I understand what it's like to struggle financially and believe the quality of one's education should not be dependent upon their ability to pay.
