My Approach to Tutoring: I believe that learning should be enjoyable and tailored to each individual. Everyone has their own unique learning style, and my goal is to make sure that my lessons resonate with you in a way that works best for you. Whether you’re someone who learns by doing, through conversation, or by breaking things down step-by-step, I adjust my approach to meet your needs. I like to keep things interactive and engaging by: Making it Relatable: I connect the material to real-world examples that are meaningful to you, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just memorising facts. Encouraging Open Discussion: I believe that the best way to learn is by talking through ideas, asking questions, and making the learning process feel like a conversation rather than a lecture. Breaking Things Down: When something feels tricky, I’ll break it down into smaller chunks, ensuring you really understand the basics before moving on to more complex ideas. Ongoing Feedback: I always provide feedback that’s constructive and supportive. I want to help you grow, so you’ll get insights on what’s going well and where there’s room for improvement. Lesson Length: I typically offer lessons that last between 60 to 90 minutes. I find that this is the sweet spot where we can go into depth without losing focus or energy, and it leaves you feeling satisfied with what you’ve learned. My Qualifications and Experience: I’m currently a Masters in Person-Centred Therapy student and a trainee counsellor, but my background is also in sports psychology and personal training. I’ve worked with students at the A-Level and undergraduate levels, and I have experience helping with essay writing, critical analysis, and statistics. I also hold a DipHE in Biomedical Sciences, so I’m well-versed in physiology and biomedical sciences. Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are perfect for anyone from A-Level students to undergraduates looking for support in psychology, sports psychology, personal training, or biomedical sciences. Whether you need help with critical thinking, essay writing, or just want a deeper understanding of the material, I’ll be there to help guide you. At the end of the day, I want you to feel like you’ve made progress and that learning was fun along the way. My aim is to help you not only succeed academically but enjoy the journey while you’re at it.
