About Reina
Singing is more than just hitting the right notes—it’s telling a story. With over 12 years of teaching experience and a degree in Music Production (Vocal Engineering), I’ve helped countless students find their unique sound. I design personalized lessons for school-aged learners, university students, and professional artists alike. My focus is on singer-songwriters who want to write, perform, and record original music. We’ll work on lyrics, melodies, and phrasing to deliver emotion with every line. You’ll also gain skills in guitar and piano for self-accompaniment. I bring ear training, harmony exercises, and improvisation into every session. Music theory becomes a creative ally, helping you make informed artistic choices. I prioritize safe vocal techniques that preserve and strengthen your voice. My teaching space is encouraging and interactive, allowing you to experiment without fear. My approach to teaching singing blends technical skill with artistic freedom. We start with understanding vocal resonance, helping you create a fuller, more natural sound. I introduce projection techniques so you can sing powerfully without pushing. Tone shaping exercises allow you to experiment with different vocal textures. We explore vocal qualities including belting, head voice, and mixed voice, ensuring you feel comfortable switching between them. I adapt lessons for each student’s needs and learning style. I work especially well with The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner, guiding them with patience and clarity. My lessons are interactive, allowing space for both structured practice and creative exploration. You’ll gain confidence in your voice with each step. I use practical examples to connect technique with real performance situations. Vocal health is always a priority, so your progress is sustainable. Singing should feel both challenging and enjoyable.
