About Anil

I have been teaching, performing and learning the drums for over a decade now and am always keen to share my views, knowledge and experiences with my fellow students. I am a well-trained drummer with experience working in various teaching assignments and performances in India and abroad. All styles of music are well known and students are trained for various exams. I have work experience as Drum Tutor (9 years) at Chetana Music Academy, Thrissur and Music Tutor at The Vibe Music Conservatory, Kochi (4 years). Now I am working as a drummer in the music department of the UAE Police Force.

About the lesson

My teaching style is majorly giving individual attention to students. Focus on music theory as well as basic and advanced techniques. Performance-oriented sessions with well-designed course material. Each session being planned for 60 minutes once or twice a week. Basic, intermediate and advanced level lessons of all major styles of music. Some of the concepts and topics I'll be covering are as follows - 1 - Rockschool/Trinity/ABRSM/LCM Syllabus 2 - Music Theory 3 - Ear training 4 - Improvisation 5 - Technical exercises 6 - How to record drums using software 7 - Playing along backing tracks/songs and with your fellow musicians/band. 8 - Song interpretation and analysis. And so much more!

He taught (ONLINE CLASSES) my 8 year son Hannish how to read sheet music of snare pieces and drummer pieces, all varieties of genres and rudiments.
