About Clara
I just graduated highschool and I am really trying to makes some extra money by helping people and especially kids with adhd or learning troubles. I myself struggle with focusing on doing work but I have found ways that I can stay focused and true to my work. I want to help kids who struggle with the same issues I went through, which caused me to fail math for a while. I am kind and very patient with stubborn learners.

I start with the basics, depending on what grade level. Then with what that student is learning in their math class, if they have one. If not I will start with what the individual knows.
Typically I would start by going over any homework they have and completed and understanding it. After completing homework, if any, I would go over the main things that the student had trouble understanding and go over it until they can do it all by themselves.
I like to have fun with my tutoring, it's not all strict and boring. I will try to make it fun and easy to understand.
I want these lessons to be for Pre-k-8th grade students who are struggling with understanding math. I am currently tutoring a 6th grader who is working on GCF, LCM, LCD, fractions, and more. I am willing to learn and look over lessons to completely understand how the student is learning and being taught already. I am willing to start anywhere from addition to pre-algebra/8th grade math.
