I highly recommend Tarrell as an instructor. She is always prepared with clear goals for our sessions, offers to go out of her way to find resources that help me, is clear with her direction and is also very encouraging and is a joy to spend time with.

I have known Tarrell for eight years and I taught alongside her for three years. Tarrell is a skilled artist who is extremely passionate about her students.

In our private discussions, she often shares her desire to help her students grow in their abilities. Any student who chooses Tarrell as a teacher will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of thought and effort she puts into teaching them.

Tarrell taught me to paint birds (blue jays and cardinals) in watercolors and I was so amazed by the results. I didn't know I was capable of creating something so beautiful.

Tarrell has taught two of my sons. One took her class for sophomore English and the other one took her class for consumer math. She had a good syllabus for each class and if the students didn't understand an assignment or something from class, they were able to ask questions and get feedback. She uses class discussion to really help her students understand the material and to draw them out to see how well they understood the reading or the assignment, etc. I found her communicative and open to feedback. My sons enjoyed her classes and learned a great deal.
