Bonjour. Je m'appelle Jacques.
(Hello, my name is James)
I recently traveled to France (Paris, Champagne, Versailles, and Normandy) this past summer and love the French language and the French people. I have been participating in a French Conversation Group here in the U.S. and try to take regular opportunities to speak and hear French on my own. I would be glad to share with you how you might do the same.

Lessons are for beginners to 3rd and 4th year students, prospective hosts for exchange students, and travelers to France. My approach is to have you speak and hear French as much as possible; so, there is plenty of activity and interaction during the lessons.
Lessons typically last 30 minutes or an hour and include AS LITTLE ENGLISH AS POSSIBLE.
Typically, we start with a greeting and meeting conversation, then focus on some specific type of conversation/way to say something (such as "Where is..? "Here/There is...") with the attendant vocabulary (such as things around the classroom, around the house, or around town). We finish with a prescription for practice and a parting conversation (saying good-bye).
