About Jane
I have over ten years of experience teaching singing, backed by an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in working with young children and early teens, using creative and playful methods to make learning fun. My lessons often include games, movement, and storytelling to teach pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in a way that feels natural and engaging. I enjoy helping students discover the joy of singing through folk songs, Disney tunes, and musicals. I focus on age-appropriate techniques that protect young voices while encouraging growth. Building confidence is a big part of what I do, along with developing strong listening skills. I believe every child can find their own unique voice and love making music. My lessons are designed to be safe, supportive, and exciting, so students feel comfortable exploring their abilities. I love seeing young singers light up when they connect with a song. My singing lessons focus on helping students develop pitch perfection, expressiveness, and confidence. For soloists in training, I emphasize mastering control and emotion to bring their performances to life. Adult beginners get a supportive environment where they can build strong foundations without pressure. I use a variety of song styles to keep lessons interesting and help each student find their unique voice.
Musicality is key, so we explore different genres to improve phrasing and tone. This variety helps students connect with the music and express themselves better. I also use modern technology to enhance learning. Recording software lets students hear themselves clearly and track their progress over time. Ear training apps improve pitch recognition and vocal control. Pitch correction tools help identify areas that need work, making practice more effective.
Lessons are interactive and goal-driven, so students feel motivated and see real improvement. I focus on building confidence through gradual challenges and positive feedback. Whether you’re preparing to perform or just starting out, my approach adapts to your needs. Together, we work to make your singing stronger and more expressive every step of the way.
