About Mulemi
I am Lillian Mulemi, a passionate and dedicated maths student tutor. My love for mathematics began at an early age, and it has only grown stronger as I've progressed through my academic journey. I am currently pursuing a degree in Architecture at the University of Salford, where I have honed my understanding of various mathematical concepts and developed effective teaching strategies. My goal as a maths tutor is to make maths accessible and enjoyable for students from primary level to A level. Whether you're struggling with basic arithmetic or tackling advanced calculus, I'm here to help. I believe that every student has the potential to excel in maths, and my tutoring approach is tailored to individual needs and learning styles. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where my students can thrive. In addition to tutoring, I have actively participated and excelled in maths clubs and competitions, which has further deepened my passion for the subject. I have previously excelled in the subject as a student throughout my time in lower-level education. I use a recap method at the beginning of each lesson to remind students what was covered in the previous lessons before beginning a new class, by giving a few problems to solve and ensuring the concepts are understood even after a long time. After-hours homework is given based on the most recent work to solidify understanding of the most recent concept covered. Typically, lessons last up to 2 hours. I have tutored students for about 6 months I have the qualification to teach students only at A level and below

I signed up my sister (Amanda) who was in year 12 at the time to be tutored by Mulemi and I noticed a big improvement. Amanda no longer struggles in math and she even got to proceed to do her year 13, which we thought would not be possible as she previously felt like she would not pass her exams and would be forced to retake her year 12. I highly recommend Mulemi as I and my whole family were more than satisfied with her services.
She is a very good tutor. She is patient and explains concepts in a very easily understandable manner that sticks even when the lesson is over. She encourages her students and helped me move from a 40 to 60 in just 5 weeks. I definitely recommend her for any struggling students.
