About Katherine
I am a lively, communicate graduate student who has always had a passion for reading and writing. A resident from Washington state, I enjoy spending time outside hiking, reading, and exploring. I have experience as a tutor at the elementary and high school level, and have found such joy in teaching the future leaders of our world. I love to engage with students and help them find a similar joy in connecting literature to their lives.

As someone who is young, energetic, and passionate about English literature, I seek to spark passion and inspiration among students. My lessons are interactive and engaging, while low-stress to ensure students gain a comprehensive understanding of material and rhetoric without feeling overwhelmed. As someone with a collegiate endorsement in ELA who is currently studying at the graduate level, I am constantly adapting lessons for differentiated, interpersonal lessons that are specific to the needs of each student.
