Core Concept (20–25 min) – Teach or review the day’s topic (e.g., graphing cube root functions, solving equations), using examples and visual aids. Guided Practice (15–20 min) – Work through practice problems together, increasing difficulty as confidence grows. Wrap-up & Questions (5–10 min) – Summarize key takeaways and assign optional practice problems or study tips. What sets me apart: I’m a college student who recently mastered the same content, so I can explain it in a relatable, student-friendly way. I specialize in visual learning and function analysis, which are core parts of Algebra 1 and often the most challenging. I tailor every session based on the student’s textbook, learning style, and goals—whether that’s improving grades, prepping for tests, or just gaining confidence.
