About Jessica
Hello, my name is Jessica! I am excited to get to know you better and make learning fun again. I graduated with a degree in Nutrition have worked in the food and beverage industry for the past 6 years. My first job was actually making ice cream! I have developed many skills throughout school and work, and I am looking forward to sharing some things I have learned with you! I am not looking to tell you what to do, but rather work together to help further improve your own skills, both inside and outside of school. I grew up playing sports like hockey and soccer, so I understand that it can be challenging to balance a lot of things at once. Luckily I have some tricks to help you!

At first, I like to assess where the individual is at, so that I am able to target area's for improvement. After pinpointing this, I create a detailed plan to target these issues, involving an array of fun yet informational lessons that will teach the individual in a unique way that will stick with them. As everyone learns differently, I encourage open communication and a safe environment, where everyone is free to express their feelings without judgement. I believe it is important to create personal relationships with the student to get them looking forward to the sessions, as opposed to a chore they're forced to be going to. While I am looking to help them improve in these certain area's, my knowledge goes much beyond that. I look for long term solutions to help improve interpersonal skills, study habits, and tricks to succeed both in school and in the future workforce.
