About Kharis
I am currently an undergraduate History student at Chester University with an ambition to become a History teacher at a secondary school level. I have over a year of tutoring experience under my belt, and I have taught AQA and Edexcel GCSE History in a broad variety of subject areas including the Cold War, Medicine through the Ages and Nazi Germany; however I am devoted to studying multiple historical branches and interests that students may want to cover in sessions.
I love to ask students questions to truly engage them in the subject matter at hand. I believe in acknowledging my student's strengths within my sessions; as well as working with them to understand how developments can be made. Previous students have seen a 4 to 5-grade increase after my sessions. I have a committed attitude to each student and have a passion for them to each individually succeed in their academic careers.

My lessons aim to include a balance between content knowledge, revision technique, and essay technique; encouraging a unique learning environment for every student no matter their historical or academic ability.
