About Anastasia

I am a piano performance graduate from UWA Conservatorium of Music, holding an active teaching position there and private studio since 2009. I specialise in working with adult students all over the world online as I love the powerful learning potential of the technology available and recognise that convenience is key to the commitment of learning the piano. I have a strong background in many movement studies such as the Taubman Approach to piano playing, helping pianists play with greater speed and physical ease as well as retraining injured pianists to play with more comfort and facility. We teach students like you to play music with technical brilliance and ease, whether you are just starting your journey or are a seasoned professional.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is very much centred around the idea of effective practice and technical hacks to make learning and playing feel easy. We identify any gaps in your understanding and lightening speed and help you to establish excellent practice strategies to ensure you are forming great habits, leading to great music. Repetition, regularity and clear understanding are the keys to being able to make rapid progress in playing the piano (or any instrument for that matter!) and work on playing songs you love and are relevant to you.

PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY TEACH ONLINE as we truly believe it is THE most effective way to learn the piano in the 21st century (the technology is amazing-!! I wish we had this option when I started!). Learn from the comfort and convenience of your own home. Note, you will need a piano to get started and we assure you will be both surprised and delighted by our innovative approach to learning to play piano. We work with adult students up to age 84 (we are happy for you to beat this record ;-P).
