I generally work with students aged 18-35, but also had an experience with students of different age.
I guess that sudying the language can be signifficantly enriched by diving into the culture and atmosphere of the country which can be a natural motivation and one of the means of achieving the goal faster.
I have a PhD in Russian Language and a Bachelor's degree in teaching English and German as a foreign Language. I also investigate cognitive processes in our mind and their connection with actual speech as well as gender-marked cognitive metaphores in Russian and English.
In my free time I work in IT company helping cool people master their language skills or volunteer for Ted talks as a translator for their videos.
