About Chris
I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2018.
From there I became a producer assistant in the development department. This is the department that "greenlights" a project. This process starts with an assistant giving a script coverage. From there scripts move up the ladder depending on their talent, checking off producer's wants, and budget. Mostly producers make what they already know and stick to their genre and expertise.
I think I am a great teacher because I see this as a business. We are in the art of creating emotional experiences, but it is a product at the end of the day. Therefore I do NOT see scriptwriting as an art but rather a sport.
Making the audience care about your characters and premise is the most important part of your script. That is where I come in, to make sure that your script is exciting and doesn't lose the audience's attention for one second.

I can teach fresh learners to industry professionals. I cater to your skill level and goals.
Three Versions:
1.Read script and give coverage, feedback, and how to improve the script.
A. This does NOT require contact with each other.
B. I will write a 3-7 page coverage review accessing where the script is at and how it can be improved.
2. Video Call.
We go in detail a specific part of your script and how it can be improved. Often this is about characterization and how their arc relates to the plot points. We try to remove "excess" ideas that clutter from the goals.
3. Video Call Lesson Plan.
A. We go over a specific part of script writing. Examples include how to write a hook within 3 pages, Understanding script commands and how scripts differ from books, how to write a montage.
I have experience that matters, and I know how to communicate effectively on concepts that are mostly subjectively.
