When I recently found myself at a crossroads in my career, family life, and the desire to fulfill some yearning in my artistic pursuits, I was nearly paralyzed with the options about where to begin. Somewhat serendipitously, I read one of Mish's social media posts about her new commitment to coaching and strengths measurement employing the Clifton model. Mish and I met several years back in our small community in Maine at a meditation retreat and I had been periodically in touch with her in the somewhat turbulent time since. Drawn to Mish's positivity, willingness, and desire to make connections with people of diverse backgrounds, work experiences, and goals, I shot her a message. I asked if she'd be willing to help unpackage some of my "stuckness." In our first online session, I quickly realized what gifts Mish possesses; she's a great listener, and she also possesses an acute understanding of the importance of re-framing frustrations or conundrums into opportunities for growth and enrichment. By framing each session around a nagging (or at least vexing) question, in 40 minutes, Mish guided me toward a manageable set of actionable goals that I could readily achieve. In our few sessions together, Mish has helped me dislodge some of the old beliefs I've long assumed were unshakeable truths, and in the process has helped me better harness and focus my energy in new and creative ways. I always look forward to my time with Mish, and am always excited to see what new work will be uncovered in our sessions. I can't recommend Mish and her warm, supportive approach to coaching enough.
Mish has the rare ability to not only assess strengths but to help her clients better understand how to put those strengths to use. Her superpowers are relationships, organization and strategy. She helped me to hone and strengthen skill sets and find new ways to problem-solve, and approach my challenges in a new way. I feel more available to consult and strategize and overall have revitalized my practice thanks to Mish. She is a strong leader with the ability to guide and motivate.
Mish exudes a warmth and confidence that puts you at ease right away and instantly bonds the client/coach relationship. I was in a particularly uncomfortable place in life, feeling untethered, having been told I was being laid off from a job after 16 years, and after one session with her, I felt like I was moving forward professionally. She is an expert with the Clifton Strengths tool and has moved me through understanding how to make sense of my results and how to apply them to my life with clever assignments that help you understand yourself better and how to use the knowledge for growth and application. I am deeply grateful to work with her as she helps me find clarity about what I want to be/do when I "grow up."
