About Sonia
I have taught for 42 years and have experience teaching violin, viola, cello and chamber ensembles, both one-on-one and group classes. I taught at both Public and Private schools and create the curriculum for my students based on theirpotential and individual commitment.

My teaching philosophy is: don't teach the curriculum, teach the student! I am very flexible in terms of adjusting level of literature and expectations. I have students of all levels in my studio: beginners, intermediate players and very advanced ones who participate in professional level groups and are preparing for
auditions for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
