About Jordan
Teaching makes up a large part of my career alongside performing in professional orchestras and chamber ensembles across Europe. I studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London before completing my studies in Switzerland where I studied music pedagogy. I have taught violin and viola for the London Symphony Orchestra's Discovery programme and held teaching positions at the Borough Music School and the King Solomon Academy in London.
I am happy to prepare students for exams at all different levels, work on a technical fondation that is essential for violin and viola playing as well as teaching a wide variety of style and repertoire.
I also have a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate.

I have been teaching violin and viola students for 10 years in the UK and Switzerland. A typical lesson with me will include warm up activities, technical work or studies, repertoire (of all styles) and games/challenges for younger students. I use a variety of methods (Colourstrings, Suzuki, Rolland and many others) to offer a well rounded training for my students. Lessons will take place on either Skype or Zoom during the Covid-19 lockdown.
