About Finn

I hold a BA in Violin Performance and have dedicated over seven years to teaching both violin and viola. My journey in music began at a young age, and my passion for it has only grown stronger over the years. I have had the privilege of studying under some of the finest musicians, which has greatly influenced my teaching style and approach. My mission is to share the joy of music with my students and help them achieve their musical goals.

As a violin and viola teacher, I specialize in both classical and modern music. I believe in providing a well-rounded musical education that includes a variety of genres and styles. My students benefit from my extensive knowledge and experience, gaining a deep understanding of music theory, technique, and performance. I am committed to helping each student develop their unique musical voice, whether they are just starting out or are preparing for advanced conservatory exams.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a fun and engaging learning environment. I understand that each student is unique, and I tailor my lessons to suit individual learning styles and preferences. My goal is to make learning music an enjoyable experience, filled with creativity and exploration. I use a flexible methodology that adapts to the needs of my students, ensuring that they remain motivated and enthusiastic about their musical journey.

In addition to my teaching, I actively perform and stay involved in the music community. This keeps me connected to the latest developments in music education and performance, which I bring back to my students. About the lesson

My violin and viola lessons are structured to cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Each lesson begins with a warm-up session focusing on fundamental techniques such as bowing, finger placement, and scales. Whether you are preparing for a conservatory exam or just looking to enhance your skills, my lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs.
