About Ivy

I am a passionate violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. My love for music extends beyond classical traditions into Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I enjoy helping students explore the violin in creative and unexpected ways. Improvisation is at the heart of my lessons. I introduce looping pedals, effects, and innovative performance techniques to expand musical possibilities. Together, we experiment with tone, texture, and rhythm to create unique sounds. I guide students in writing their own solos and adapting popular songs to suit their style. My approach encourages curiosity and personal expression. I believe every student can discover their musical voice through exploration and creativity.
