About Arden
I am a violin tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. My passion lies in making music education accessible, engaging, and effective for students learning both in person and online. Over the years, I have refined a teaching style that balances precision with creativity. I use a variety of digital teaching tools to enhance the learning process. Virtual sheet music makes lessons interactive and easy to follow. Backing tracks allow students to experience the joy of playing with accompaniment, building both timing and confidence. Metronome apps help strengthen rhythmic accuracy, while video feedback offers personalized insights students can review anytime. I have worked extensively with remote learners, supporting students from different locations and time zones. A key focus of my online teaching is ensuring that students develop excellent tone and posture, even when learning through a screen. Clear demonstrations, detailed feedback, and tailored exercises make this possible. My lessons are designed to build technical skill while also inspiring musical expression.
