I am a violin tutor with over 3 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Chamber Music with a focus on Violin. My teaching approach integrates music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading directly into violin practice. I believe that understanding the structure of music strengthens both technical skill and expressive performance. I teach scales, intervals, and harmony through practical bowing and fingering exercises, helping students connect theory with real playing. Lessons are designed to improve technique while developing musical intuition and confidence. I work with music exam candidates, guiding them through repertoire, technical requirements, and performance preparation. I also support students who want to strengthen their overall musical fluency, combining technical drills with ensemble and solo practice. My approach emphasizes precision, rhythm, and expressive interpretation in every lesson. I encourage active listening and performance practice to build both skill and stage presence. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and learning style, making progress both achievable and rewarding.
