About Sheri
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I developed a deep love for it, and over time, that passion has only grown stronger. While I approach my musical practice and performance with a high level of professionalism and dedication, I also believe in the importance of joy and playfulness. Music, to me, is not only a discipline but a source of happiness and creative expression. I strive to balance technical excellence with a genuine love for the art, keeping it both meaningful and enjoyable.

I start by getting to know your goals, struggles, and strengths. Are you a visual learner? Love analogies? Need memes to memorize things? I understand 100%. Mistakes? LOVE THEM. That’s where the real learning happens. I usually try and go for a 60-minute lesson. Quick Catch-Up “Hey! How are you feeling? Anything from last time you wanna revisit?” A quick check-in to ensure everything is going well. Goal Setting “Today we’re gonna tackle your vocal range, and by the end, you’ll be able to sing higher or lower.” Concept Breakdown: I teach you the concept with lots of examples, visuals, and quirky metaphors. Making sure to practice everything that we have talked about and to just work more on things that need improvement. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I can understand where anyone is coming from. If they are shy, we can work on that, or if they are outgoing, we can make their music the same. I switch gears fast if something’s not clicking for you. The lessons would be more for the younger kids who are passionate about singing, but I would be happy working with anyone.
