About Mila
With over 9 years of chess tutoring experience, I’ve developed a teaching style that blends structure with teamwork. My background includes leading youth clubs, organizing group tournaments, and mentoring players preparing for competitions. I emphasize collaboration through shared analysis and strategic discussions. Students in my groups learn not only to master the board, but also to value the insight of others. My lessons focus on openings, middle-game tactics, and endgame clarity, while weaving in problem-solving as a group. I encourage resilience and adaptability, especially when facing high-pressure moments in matches. Many of my students have grown confident in their ability to both lead and support their peers in tournaments. I create a welcoming environment where every voice is heard. By building strong habits and practicing regularly, students discover how rewarding chess can be. I believe chess teaches focus, creativity, and patience. It’s a game that challenges us to think together as much as we think alone. Let’s take your skills to the next level through shared learning.

My approach to chess is hands-on and practical. Lessons always include real games, tactical puzzles, and focused drills. I teach students how to open with confidence, play strategically in the middlegame, and finish with strength in the endgame. I also highlight the importance of adapting to your opponent, not just playing memorized moves. I encourage learners to slow down, think carefully, and understand every position. Mistakes are reviewed as learning opportunities. For the Exam Taker, I offer targeted practice with strict timelines. For the Hobbyist, I design lessons that feel relaxed yet stimulating. I use examples from famous matches to show how champions think. I also bring attention to psychological skills like patience, confidence, and composure. My method keeps progress steady while making learning enjoyable. Over time, students build both skills and self-belief. Together, we shape smarter, stronger, and more strategic players.
