About Vera

I am a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience, teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding 150-200 students on their musical journeys, tailoring each lesson to meet their individual needs and goals. I believe in the power of personalized learning and take the time to understand each student’s learning style, allowing me to create customized lessons that are both engaging and effective. My approach emphasizes not just technical proficiency, but also fostering a love for music, helping students find joy in their practice. In addition to teaching classical piano, I offer instruction in various music styles, including pop, jazz, and improvisation, providing students with a well-rounded musical education. I also focus on building strong foundational skills in music theory and ear training, ensuring students have a complete understanding of the music they play. My ultimate goal is to inspire confidence and a lifelong passion for music in every student I teach.

About the lesson

My teaching strategy for piano is centered around motivation, problem-solving, and adapting to each student’s unique learning style. I believe in creating an inspiring and supportive environment where students are encouraged to set and achieve their personal goals. Whether a beginner or more advanced student, I focus on fostering a love for music that drives consistent practice and improvement.

I use a problem-solving approach to help students tackle challenges, breaking down complex pieces or techniques into manageable steps. This allows students to build confidence and feel a sense of accomplishment as they progress.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each individual's needs—whether through visual aids, hands-on exercises, or auditory learning. Alongside piano, I also teach music theory, ear training, and improvisation, helping students gain a well-rounded understanding of music that complements their piano skills. My aim is to make learning both enjoyable and effective.
