About Rebecca
What I love most about teaching adults is the depth of connection we build—not just with music, but with learning itself. Many of my students come to me having spent years focused on work or caregiving, and now they’re finally making space for something just for them. My role is to make that journey as joyful and accessible as possible. I teach flute with an emphasis on technique that feels intuitive and approachable. We start where you are, using exercises that improve tone, dexterity, and musicality without overwhelming you. I also use reflection-based practice, where students track not just what they’re playing, but how they feel about it. This approach creates confidence and helps break through old beliefs like “I’m not musical” or “I can’t keep up.” Music is not a test—it’s a conversation. Let’s start talking.
