About Clementine

With over 8 years of experience in music education, I specialize in helping singers of all levels find their voice through structured vocal training and group harmony. Holding a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice, I’ve worked extensively with choirs, vocal ensembles, and community singing groups. My expertise spans a variety of styles, including Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop, with a special emphasis on sight singing, solfège, and choral blend. I have had the privilege of leading school choirs, college ensembles, and community groups, nurturing both individual talent and group dynamics. Whether working on part-singing, rehearsal leadership, or vocal technique, my aim is to help students develop strong vocal skills and a deep appreciation for singing together. I use a hands-on approach that encourages teamwork, musicality, and confidence in every performance. In my lessons, we focus on vocal health, expression, and technical accuracy, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills needed for any ensemble. Together, we will build your vocal strength and agility, and most importantly, we will have fun. There is nothing quite like the joy of making music in harmony with others, and I look forward to helping you discover that joy while improving your vocal abilities in a supportive group setting.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is designed to help you build confidence and vocal mastery, no matter your background. For those with a musical foundation like The Fiddler or The Music Major, we focus on pitch accuracy and vocal expression, ensuring that you connect deeply with the music you perform. Tailored techniques will help you refine breath control, manage your vocal range, and maintain vocal health. Breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups will support your vocal stamina, allowing you to perform with ease and confidence.

We’ll also incorporate ear training apps, metronomes, and recording devices to track your progress and fine-tune your pitch and rhythm. These tools help you actively engage with your sound and stay motivated throughout your practice. By focusing on building a strong technical foundation, we’ll strengthen your vocal control and emotional connection to the music.

As you grow, we’ll explore ways to make your performances more dynamic, from subtle nuances in phrasing to bold, expressive moments. Ultimately, my goal is to guide you to become a well-rounded performer who not only masters the technical aspects but also brings your unique voice to life on stage.
