About Ivy
With a MSc in Economics and over 4 years of teaching experience, I help students turn economic concepts into practical tools for thinking. My lessons explore supply and demand, markets, international trade, and development economics. I make sure to cover GDP, inflation, and unemployment with clarity. Case studies and real-world examples form the backbone of my teaching. I also incorporate historical and theoretical perspectives to provide depth. Students learn not just formulas, but also how to apply them. I guide learners through problem-solving exercises and past paper practice. My approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and discussion. Whether preparing for exams or professional growth, I tailor lessons to suit each student. Economics can seem overwhelming at first, but I break down each step carefully. I encourage students to see the connections between economics and everyday decisions. Together, we can build confidence and insight. My aim is always to make Economics both engaging and practical. With the right support, the subject becomes a pathway to understanding the world.

My Economics teaching is centered on problem-solving and clarity. I cover topics like supply and demand, market behavior, and fiscal policy step by step. Learners also explore trade, development, and the role of global economies. I use real-life case studies to show how economics applies to the world. Charts and graphs are regular tools in my lessons. I also bring in news articles and data to make learning practical. Discussions are encouraged, and students often debate policies or interpret data. I provide plenty of exam practice for those preparing for assessments. For career-focused learners, I adapt lessons to workplace applications. I help students build strong reasoning skills as well as knowledge. Each lesson adds confidence and deeper understanding. My goal is always to make Economics both useful and enjoyable.
