About Rumi
I’m a piano tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology, specialising in Keyboard Production. I have a deep passion for composing music for film, television, and video games. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and tailored to fit each student’s unique needs. Whether you’re a school student, college learner, adult, or professional, I create lessons that inspire and challenge you. I specialise in melodic writing, orchestration, sound design with synthesisers, and working confidently with digital audio workstations (DAWs). I’ve guided students from intermediate levels all the way to professional and expert stages. My approach focuses on developing your creativity while strengthening technical skills. I believe learning piano should be exciting and personally rewarding. Together, we explore musical ideas that prepare you for cinematic scoring. I emphasise both performance and composition to unlock your full potential. Each lesson is personalised to help you grow at your own pace.
