I am a passionate piano tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano. My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking, musicality, and individualized learning tailored to each student’s goals. I believe that mastering the piano goes beyond technique; it involves holistic development through music theory, ear training, history, and performance skills. I have guided students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, as well as Professional and Expert learners. Each lesson is designed to challenge, inspire, and build confidence while fostering a deep love for music. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students can explore their creativity freely. My approach combines structured technique with expressive artistry, helping students develop both technical mastery and emotional connection to the music. My piano teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations while nurturing a lifelong passion for music. I guide students from beginner to advanced levels, ensuring they feel confident at every stage. Lessons cover piano, keyboard techniques, sight-reading, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills.
I integrate music theory with practical playing so students can understand and apply concepts effortlessly. I encourage regular practice routines tailored to each student’s pace and style. From developing hand coordination to mastering complex pieces, I focus on both technique and expression.
I support students in building confidence for performances, recitals, and exams. Creativity and musicality are emphasized alongside accuracy and timing. I adapt my teaching to suit children showing exceptional talent as well as adults exploring music as a hobby.
