About Brooke
I am an economics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Economics. My passion is helping middle school students build a strong foundation in the subject. Students explore topics like supply and demand, money, trade, and decision-making. To make lessons engaging, I use activities such as trading simulations, budgeting challenges, and group exercises. These hands-on experiences show how economic ideas play out in real life. I also tell stories about markets, history, and everyday choices. Stories help make abstract ideas feel alive and relatable. My approach is nurturing and encouraging, so students feel confident while learning. I value curiosity and make space for students to explore their own ideas. Lessons are designed to balance structure with discovery. Each session builds both knowledge and critical thinking skills. Together, we uncover how economics is not just theory, but part of daily life.

I approach economics with a focus on clarity, active engagement, and application. Students learn supply and demand, trade, money, and decision-making step by step. I use charts, diagrams, and case studies to show how theories work in real life. Activities like budgeting challenges and mock markets bring lessons to life. Students enjoy exploring how choices affect outcomes. My method blends detailed explanations with interactive practice. Each session is structured but leaves room for discussion and exploration. Business-Minded Students learn how economic systems guide opportunity. Policy Enthusiasts connect theory with global challenges. I encourage every learner to approach problems with curiosity and confidence. Mistakes are treated as learning tools. By the end of lessons, students develop both knowledge and critical thinking. Economics becomes a subject they can use, not just study. Together, we make economics practical and exciting.
