About Noor

I’m a guitar tutor with 9 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Guitar Performance. I specialize in preparing students for professional auditions—whether it's for touring bands, studio recording gigs, or advanced composition programs. My teaching combines technical precision with real-world readiness, so you're not just practicing—you’re preparing. I understand the pressure that comes with high-stakes performance settings. That’s why my lessons focus on both skill-building and mindset. We work on tone control, timing, and interpretation, but also confidence, adaptability, and stage presence. I tailor each lesson to meet the specific goals of the student, pushing them toward artistic growth and professional polish. Students who train with me are guided through the exact expectations of audition panels and producers. We’ll sharpen your strengths and fill in the gaps. About the lesson

My guitar teaching approach is clear, focused, and built to strengthen music reading skills from the ground up. I help students learn to read both tablature and standard notation with ease. Lessons include sight-reading exercises, rhythm drills, and guided practice with real musical pieces.

We explore how to recognize pitch, duration, and musical patterns on the page—and then play them confidently on the fretboard. Whether you're new to reading or looking to improve fluency, I offer a step-by-step method that builds lasting skill. I emphasize clean rhythm reading, timing accuracy, and reading in different positions on the neck.

My students develop the tools to read across styles and play in both solo and ensemble settings. I work especially well with those who aim for classical precision or want to explore the structure of jazz. Together, we train both the eye and the ear for clear musical communication.
