About David
In the last year, I have worked with 45 first-time authors to help them finish rough drafts of their book manuscripts over 16 weeks. For three years before that, I taught first-year writing and creative writing courses at The Ohio State University.

I like to let the student's interests and passions direct my writing instruction. The student will propose a writing project, or we will brainstorm one together. As they work on their project, I will give feedback on their drafts, assign readings relevant to their interests, and offer general writing instruction, using the drafts and readings as examples.
