About Georgia
Hello! I’m a violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. My training is rooted in classical technique, which I use to help students build a strong foundation. I guide learners in mastering bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and interpretation. At the same time, I encourage exploring modern expression through the violin, including Contemporary and Cinematic styles. My lessons balance technical precision with musical creativity, making each session engaging and rewarding. I have extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams, as well as coaching them for orchestral performance. I focus on helping students develop both confidence and artistry, whether performing solo or in ensembles. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, pace, and musical interests. I love inspiring students to connect emotionally with the music they play. Together, we explore repertoire that blends tradition and innovation. I guide my students on a journey where the violin becomes a trusted voice. Expressive dynamics and phrasing are explored early, encouraging students to tell their own musical stories. For those who struggle with motivation, I create small, meaningful goals that make progress visible and exciting. I also support students who thrive on structure, helping them refine technique while nurturing creativity. Confidence-building is a central part of every lesson, preparing students for performance, auditions, or personal growth.
