About Zoya

Hi, I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. I am passionate about ear training, harmony, melody, and the transformative power of music. My lessons combine vocal training, music theory, sight singing, and performance techniques to help students grow as complete musicians. I teach a wide variety of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, blues, and movie singing, tailoring each lesson to the student’s interests and goals. I work with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals, providing guidance that is both structured and inspiring. About the lesson

My singing methodology focuses on helping each student discover their unique vocal identity while fostering creative growth. For adult beginners, lessons are paced to build confidence and comfort with their voice, using genre exploration to expand their musical palate. Advanced teens benefit from improvisation exercises that challenge creativity and refine technical skills. Both personas use tools like lyric analysis sheets, vocal journals, DAWs, and melody trainers to track progress and deepen musical understanding.

I guide students in exploring dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic nuances to make every performance compelling. Repertoire is chosen to match their interests while gently pushing their boundaries. Regular exercises in sight-reading, harmonization, and ear training enhance overall musicianship.
