About Zade
I am a violin tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. My passion lies in exploring crossover violin styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I love helping students discover how versatile the violin can be beyond traditional classical playing. In my lessons, I encourage improvisation and creativity. We use tools like looping pedals to build layered sounds and bring performances to life. I guide students in writing their own solos and adapting popular songs to fit their unique style. Experimenting with tone and texture is a big part of my teaching, helping students find their personal voice on the violin. I believe music should be fun and expressive. Whether you’re just starting or looking to expand your skills, I support your creative journey every step of the way. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong bowing control, precise intonation, and beautiful tone quality. I believe good posture is the foundation for relaxed and effective playing, so I emphasize body awareness from the start. Musical expression is key, and I help students bring feeling and emotion into every piece they play.
I tailor lessons to suit each student’s level and goals. For those who enjoy singing along or joining groups, I guide them to blend their violin skills smoothly with their vocal abilities. I also support students who perform in choirs or ensembles, helping them stay confident and connected to the music.
We work step-by-step on technique, using exercises that improve finger placement and bow speed. I encourage listening closely to develop a good ear for pitch and tone. Regular practice with a metronome builds timing and rhythm.
Recording sessions help students hear their progress and set clear goals. Above all, I create a friendly and patient learning space where students feel encouraged to express themselves freely. Together, we make learning the violin an enjoyable and rewarding journey.
