Hi, I'm a passionate vocal coach with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. I specialize in guiding singers through the rich worlds of R\&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. Whether you're a hobbyist or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor each lesson to help you find your unique voice. My teaching goes beyond just hitting the right notes—I focus on lyric interpretation, tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing to help you tell your story with emotional depth. I believe every voice has its own color, and I love helping students discover and refine theirs. Using modern tech like digital audio workstations (DAWs), vocal processors, and studio-grade microphones, I prepare students for real-world studio recording and songwriting sessions. You'll learn how to work with backing tracks, record clean takes, and build layered harmonies that shine. I also integrate studio techniques into our lessons so you’re comfortable in front of the mic and behind the headphones. My singing lessons are specially designed to support both The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner by focusing on pitch perfection, expressiveness, and confidence-building. For soloists, I emphasize mastering control and emotional delivery, helping them connect deeply with each song. Adult beginners gain a solid foundation by exploring comfortable vocal techniques and gradually building their vocal range. We use a variety of song styles—from soulful ballads to upbeat pop—to develop musicality and keep lessons engaging. This diversity helps learners understand phrasing, rhythm, and dynamics in different contexts. To track progress, I integrate modern tech tools like recording software that allows students to hear themselves objectively. Ear training apps sharpen pitch recognition and improve intonation. Pitch correction software is used as a gentle guide, helping students identify and correct subtle pitch issues in real time. These tools make practice measurable and motivate consistent improvement. Confidence grows as students witness their own progress through recorded sessions and app feedback. By blending traditional vocal techniques with technology, the learning journey becomes clear, interactive, and inspiring. Each lesson is tailored to nurture passion and unlock each singer’s unique voice.
