About Ursula

Hi, I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens using creative, playful methods that make learning fun. My lessons often include games, movement, and storytelling to help students grasp pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in an engaging way. I love working with folk songs, Disney tunes, and musicals, all carefully chosen to suit each child’s age and ability. My focus is not only on technique but also on building confidence and strong listening skills. I believe every young voice has its own unique charm, and my goal is to help students find joy in making music. Each lesson is designed to be a safe and encouraging space where kids feel comfortable experimenting and expressing themselves. I’m passionate about turning singing lessons into an exciting adventure. With patience and creativity, I help young singers grow their skills while having a great time. Learning to sing should always be fun, and I’m here to make sure it is!

About the lesson

For The Soloist in Training, singing lessons focus on perfecting pitch, developing expressiveness, and building stage confidence. We use a variety of song styles—from soulful ballads to upbeat pop—to challenge their range and emotional delivery. This helps them connect deeply with each piece, enhancing musicality and performance skills. For The Adult Beginner, lessons start with simple melodies and familiar tunes to ease into pitch accuracy and breath control. Gradually, we introduce diverse genres like jazz and folk to keep learning exciting and broaden their musical understanding.

Both personas benefit from modern technology. Recording software allows them to listen back and hear their progress clearly. Ear training apps sharpen their pitch recognition and help correct intonation in real-time. Pitch correction tools guide subtle adjustments without losing the natural voice’s character. This tech-supported feedback loop boosts confidence and keeps motivation high.

By blending traditional vocal techniques with interactive tools, each student experiences steady improvement. Expressiveness grows as they explore different styles, and confidence shines through consistent practice and measurable progress. The approach is tailored, fun, and results-driven—perfect for soloists aiming to perform and adults discovering their voice.
