About Harold
I have a degree in mathematics as well as an associate's degree from a technical school in CAD. I spent four years as an apprentice surveyor while going to night school to learn AutoCAD in the 1990s. I've worked in several industries since then using many different versions of AutoCAD (CIVIL 3D, PLANT 3D, AutoCAD LT, LAND DESKTOP). I am also an FAA licensed drone pilot and a data collection app designer.

I've worked professionally since 1994 using AutoCAD as a golf course irrigation designer, land surveyor, piping designer, civil engineer and outage engineer in the utility industry.
We can start with the basics such as setup and preferences, then move on to drawing basics like model space vs. paper space, layers, points, lines, blocks, poly lines, orthomode, osnaps, command entry, setting up sheets and plotting and printing.
